Finally!

So today was the last day of school and the beginning of spring break (I didn't attend school because there was some stupid career day thing). I'm so excited that spring break is finally here. I don't really have HUGE plans like everyone else does, but I do plan on doing stuff with my friends and family.

Another "finally" moment is that I finally got a long sleeve somewhat baggy stripped shirt today at Tj Maxx. I know it's spring time and all but the fabric is light so I can wear it during spring, summer not so much. It's by Jones New York and it was only $20.00. I also saw this really cute heather grey blazer there but 1) It was too much and 2) I wasn't in love with it. But I'm still on the hunt. They had some really cute black blazers there as well, but they were in the $60's, $70's and higher. So those were immediately Xed of my list.

I guess while I'm here I'll give you a brief update on this past week:

Monday-Nothing exciting happening, just my grades are going up (thank god)
Tuesday-There was a junior class assembly which was about class rings and our senior trip for 2010. I was super excited about the whole thing and it was a little sad to know that next year will be my last year with a majority of the people in my school. And our senior trip is going to be in the Bahamas which I'm totally excited about. That was also the day I helped get people to sign the petition to stop the "R" word.
Wednesday: Was the college fair trip to Prince Georges Community College. There were a lot of colleges there. Some I've never heard of (Concord?) and others that I already know I'm applying to (Maryland & Penn State).
Thursday: Wasn't really a good day at all. I looked nice but I had a huge headache, I didn't study for my French 2 test, didn't study for my general business test, didn't finish my rough draft essay for English, and I left my chemistry homework on my desk at home. The only thing that brought my spirits up was Making the Band and Taking the Stage on MTV.
Friday: Went to iHop with my mom and sister then stopped at Tj Maxx (I got the stripped shirt, Ralph Lauren button up and two beige flowy tank tops). The rain ruined our trip to the mall but it was still a relaxing day.

So that was my first hectic week in awhile and thank God for spring break because I'm sooo ready to wake up later than 5 and taking the metro all over the DMV area with my friends =]
