It's Not You, It's Me..

I hate to say it but: I'm closing my blog down (gasp from the audienece). I haven't posted in forever and my life keeps getting busier by the minute. I felt bad for not posting and I always said I would, but I have so much to do in so little time these days I don't have enough time to blog anymore. I may start a new blog sometime in the future, maybe when I start college, who knows! But as for now I can't blog like I want to. I'm sorry to any viewers that may love my blog and to those that hate it, well your getting what you wanted! I feel like I'm loosing my best friend (tear) but it has to be done! I love all who supported me for this long and I hope fellow bloggers succeed with their blogs better then me! Tootles, =]=

So unlike most natural born Americans, I didn't go shopping on black friday. I've NEVER gone shopping on black friday because my mom always seems to be working that day. So I never really get disappointed. But this year, I was more then upset. I really wanted to get this peacoat I saw at Macy's but because my mom rather stay in then spend time with her daughter, I'm stuck with no jacket for the winter. That is until Christmas. I've already started making my Will Get Christmas List. Not to sound spoiled or anything, I just don't wish for things because wishes don't come true (sorry for any believers out there). When you want something, REALLY want something, you'll get it! And plus, I'm Jehlisa and I tend to get what I want (that sounds terribly spoiled!)

I'm Always Where I Need To Be

striped cardigan..tj maxx;lace top..loft;black skirt..h&m;blue tights..tj maxx
All these pictures are from the weekend and I'm just late! Speaking of the weekend, mines was really good. I went to see the Fourth Kind with my best friend. It was creepy, scarey, weird and all the rest. Then later we went to Olive Garden to celebrate an old friend of mines birthday. It was great and the food was fantastic! Oh my god I feel like my mom talking with her friends.
On the way to Olive Garden we stopped at Macy's and all of us (my two best friends and I) fell head over heels in love with these shoes. Their BCBG Max Azira and I didn't want to take them off when I put them on. As you may know, I don't do heels, EVER! But when I slipped these bad boys on, it felt like my feet were made for them. I plan to go back and buy them. But for some reason I feel like the price will still be way out of my budget. But they are cute!

Time To Reflect

First and foremost, me blogging will probably not be on a daily basis until I send out all my college applications. I'm also not going to be pursuing a job in the fashion industry. randomly one day it hit me that I wanted to be surgeon again. I think being in the medical field will forever be in my blood. I don't regret changing my mind either. I'm actually quite relieved by it. Before I was always so skeptical about going into a job dealing with fashion and now that I've made up my mind, I'm so sure of myself it's crazy! I'll still love fashion like always, I just won't have a career in it. But that's fine with me =]

I'm still on my search for the perfect blazer and boots, so far I have the blazer on lock I just need to have my parents hand over the card! As for the boots I'm not sure where to look for them. I've never been much of a shoe shopper so I have no idea where to look for shoes, but if you guys have any ideas PLEASE let me now!

I promise to do more outfit post, as if I did them in the first place. I'm still trying to figure out my personal style this year. I know I'm towards the girly look with a masculine twist and my color palette is all greys, black, white, and anything else dark, but I feel like I need to up my style. For the winter I'm looking for big bulky (probably knit) scarves, some beanies, boots, colored stockings, more skirts, more dresses and blazers! Hopefully I can get a job after I'm done with my college applications

Last but not least, I've been reading pretty good books lately (such a nerd I know). I finally finished the Time Traveler's Wife. It was so beautiful. But I could never be Claire. Couldn't deal with my husband disappearing at any given moment. I started watching the movie and in the first 15 minutes I was disappointed. It's nothing like the book but I do plan on actually finishing it one day. At the moment I reading a book called Exit Here. It's about this guy who's life includes drugs, partying, and sex. Blah blah blah it's really good! I would only advise you to read it if you don't mind cursing galore and very explicit sex scenes. Aside from that it's a great read and goes through the life of a troubled guy who's trying to make his life better.

This is another Time To Reflect...I will definitely be doing more of these!

This Is Not A Love Story

I finally got around to watching 500 Days of Summer...I LVOED it. It's super cute and totally not a chick flick. It just goes to show you that girls aren't the only one that want more then just a friendship! Plus, Zooey Deschanel's outfits are too die for

Another Love

Would be this model Jessica Stam. I first saw her on an episode of the Rachel Zoe Project and fell for her then. I'm not a person who's all over the modeling industry so I know barely any models, but when I find one I like, I do non stop searching on them (geez that sounds very stalker ish!)

I love her jacket in the last picture

XOXO Gossip Girl

One of my FAVORITE shows, and Serena just happens to be my second favorite on the show (of course Blair is the fave!) I never LOVE anything she wears on the show, but she has some good outfits. Surprisingly enough I like the outfits Marie Clair put her in. They're nothing over the top but it looks like something I could see an everyday "fashionista" in. Aside from the first look which should be left in the bedroom =]
This girl never fails at beauty, yes I'm jealous!
