"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous."

-Gabrielle "Coco Chanel" Bonheur"

the Olsens

I LOVE the way these two dress. Of cousrse there are those that say they dress like bag ladys or homeless peopls but I would glady trade closets with either one of them for a year!

this is so terrible..

I haven't blogged in almost a week! And trust me I've missed my blog! The past week has just been so hetic with projects, homeworks, visiting my cousin's house, and then to the horror I get this horrible fever which is going away hour by hour. No worries, it's not the Swine Flu (hoping at least!). But this will NEVER happend again. Even if I have to post on vacation I will! But anyways, updates coming.....NOW!

Shoes,Shoes,Shoes!

I've become a shoe addict ever since I bought these Minnetonka boots at the BEAUTIFUL Macy's in New York (looooove it!). All I do is look at shoes that I want these days. The only type of shoe I can't seem to fall in love with is heels. They just don't interest me, and plus, I hate feeling too high off the ground! But anyways, I've been looking for some cute spring shoes. I want a pair that are like a sandy brown color with a woven look to it like these two:
I also saw these on Urban Outfitters (along with the other two) and fell in love with them. Nothing special to them but they just look so cute and their only $14!And IF you keep up with my blog you saw my wonderful vintage oxfords that I'm in love with. Well I want some new ones for the spring in a lighter color. (these are also from U.O.) There $50 which is not too bad to me, but to persuade my mom to get them is the thing. I'm not sure if I'm in love with the color or not but you get the point right? The rest of the shoes I'm head over heels in love with. Even though the prices are a little up there. (these are from modcloth.com, if your a girl and you like vintage stuff check it out!Okay, I'm done with my shoe obsession, for now anyways. (sidebar: I'm forever spellchecking my blog entries because I realized I can't spell to save my life sometime. And that sounding out technique doesn't help!)

I'm such a loser for this game! (June 2009)

"It's a new day and I'm feeling alright!"

I have the song STUCK in my head
I want a pair of pants like this sooo badly! I saw them in the February or March issue of Elle and fell in love with them since. I saw some at H&M over the break and I would have bought them if A). I went to H&M first and not all those other stores and B). If I didn't have to get food to eat. They look extra comfy and I love the way they look on her. But they're kind of like the liquid leggings, only certain body shapes can pull it off. So hopefully when I do go back to H&M and buy them that they will look nice on me. Even though I KNOW they will! P.S. IF you subscribe to Teen Vogue you would recognize her from the article about fashion blogs!

Oh, check out her blog, her style blows my mind: http://childhoodflames.blogspot.com/

"It's good to be home"

I actually wore this on Thursday but couldn't post it up till now! The cardigan and tank top are from Tj Maxx and the skirt is from H&M, oh yeah the necklace is from Forever 21 and it's probably the first accessory I have bought since my homecoming earrings. (Stockings & shoes not pictured)So after I took out those horrible curls, I decided to try a new hairstyle out. Nothing dramatic, just pinning my bangs back for awhile to the side. I don't know if you can see it in this picture though. But great news: I got new glasses! My mom says I look geeky in them but I love them. One: There Calvin Klein, Two: I think they look great on me & Three: I CAN FINALLY SEE!

Global Warming

This blog has nothing to do with any kind global warming crap (whoops!). I just happened to be writing a paper on it and came across this picture. Funny right?

"All good things must come to an end"

So the break is finally over. Today's the last day before we go back tomorrow. The break really went by fast now that I think about it. One minute it's April 4th and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do and the next minute it's April 13th and I'm rushing to finish all this work before tomorrow (it's what I get for leaving a 7 page paper and three pages full of book work to do at last minute). But aside from that, my break was relaxing. Very stress free. It wasn't the best but I got every thing accomplished that I wanted to so I'm with that! Oh yeah, I changed the name of my blog. Why? Eh...I don't really have a reason yet but the name is from one of my favorite songs by Dance Gavin Dance. There's really no significance to the name, I just like the way it sounds and looks. But let me get back to this paper before I fail English!

If I had a guy who dressed like this...

My life would be complete...http://www.chictopia.com/PascalG

Ten Things A Woman Should Never Wear

I subscribe to his videos on youtube and when I saw this one I had to post it up here just because I totally agree with everything! And plus, it's funny!

Zoe Kravitz

is now a part of my Fashion Icon list. Regardless of what you may think, this girl can dress! And she's adorable, people like her make me want to grow my hair out.

This is What Happens

When I decided to try something new with my hair
Now all the curls are gone (thanks to my flat iron) and I'm back to straight hair, just the way I like it!

Columbus Short

Ever since Stomp the Yard (love that movie) came out, I fell in love with Columbus Short. Why? Just look at his smile! Granted, his fashion sense isn't up there (ex. bottom picture) but he's still adorable!

America's Next Top Model

So I've been watching America's Next Top Model religiously since the second season. And it's about time they have girls on the show that have some fashion sense (not all but some!). And girls that ACTUALLY look like models. My only problem with this season is that a majority of the girls don't have a good model walk. I don't know how you can be a model without a walk but hey, whatever works for Tyra! But here are my four favorite and the only girls I can stand on the show (and yes their in order from favorite to still my favorite just not up there!):
I love Alison's big eyes! They remind me of my sister's. I just hope she breaks out of her comfort zone before it's too late!Natalie has been a favorite since day 1. I hope she makes it to the top 3. Now, you would be lying if you said that Celia couldn't dress her ass off! She is the only girl on there whose closet I would love to go through. And her pictures are hot!At audtions, I though London was SUPER annoying. But with the hairstyle they gave her, it's hard not to love her. Too bad she had to give away her challenge winner prize (Joes Jeans) because she's supposedly gaining weight. And it looks like the judges are seeing that too (according to next weeks preview).

*I would be happy if either one of these girls win! And I'm praying one of them makes it to the final 3.

Blame the book for lack of blogging

Sooo I would have been blogging if I wasn't so caught up in this book called Saints of Augustine by P.E. Ryan (or Patrick Ryan). But since I'm done with it now, I'm back to blogging =]

One of the many reasons why I L.O.V.E. Nylon

is because they always give me new music to download. There's always some artist that I have never heard of and then in an instant fall in love with them. Wavves is a prime example. In the April issue of Nylon there's an article about Wavves and the lead singer Nathan Williams, who I think is super cute. Well anyways I downloaded one of there songs called So Bored and I fell in love with it. Nathan has this way of singing that makes it sound like he's covering his mouth with a jacket, muffled is what I'm trying to say. But listen to them, can't guarantee everyone will like them but I know I do!

Dr.Martens=Love

My goal, after I figure out a way to come up with $120 (aside from asking my parents like I always do) is to buy these. I could careless if it's spring, I WILL get these.

it's a friday

and as usual I'm sitting in front of my laptop downloading songs, looking at nylon TV, and being amazed at the new clothes on urban outfitters. But anyways there's this dress I saw on there that I fell in love with. I really want it to wear for my birthday (May 7th) maybe with heels (when pigs fly) or flats or my gladiator sandals. The price isn't that bad either, if you ask me. So hopefully I can persuade my mom or dad into buying it for me before it's sold out. Or maybe no one will buy it and I can catch it on sale! It's a really simple but classy dress. There's like two other colors but I like it in ivory best. It ties in a bow around the back (which I'm not a fan of but in this case I love it). For some reason it reminds me of something Whitney Port (The City for you non-TV watchers) would wear. Also while I was on urbanouttfitters.com I was looking at the over priced accessories ($24 for a headband?) and I came to a conclusion that I want to start making my own accessories. I don't know why, maybe because it's the lack of money I have, but I refuse to pay $34 for a bracelet I can make for nothing over $20 (of course I could go to Claire's but their stuff seems so juvenile these days). So the next time I'm at Michael's or Jo Ann's Fabrics or any craft store I'm going to pick up a jewelry making book or something along the lines of that. I think headbands are a little easier to make since you can go to Wal Mart and pick up plain plastic ones and add little trinkets to them. But when I do make something worth wearing in public I'll post it up and if there REALLY good I may even sell them on eBay or something (hey, I need to get money someway other than asking my parents every week). This was $48. I love it, but I can't see myself paying that much money for something I know I'm either going to end up loosing or breaking.
